Public Sector

Bringing our private-sector playbook to government contracts.

Luften is actively pursuing NYC and NY-state contract vehicles for H₂S suppression, lift-station biological dosing, grease trap programs, and facility odor control. We haven't been awarded a government contract yet — we're building capability statements and looking for the right first agency partner.

Buyers we serve

Agencies whose needs match what we do.

Each of these buyers procures wastewater treatment, H₂S control, grease trap maintenance, or odor control on recurring vehicles. These are the agencies we're targeting — where our private-sector service catalog maps directly to line items already in the RFP.

Highest fit

NYC DEP — Department of Environmental Protection

14 wastewater resource recovery facilities and ~96 pumping stations. Recurring buyers of H₂S scavengers, ferrous chloride, bioaugmentation, and force-main dosing programs.

NYC PASSPort — search “odor control,” “hydrogen sulfide,” “bioaugmentation,” “wastewater chemicals.”

Fastest wedge

NYCHA — NYC Housing Authority

170,000+ apartments across five boroughs. Buys drain line maintenance, grease traps, and trash compactor / chute odor control — a direct match for Luften's multifamily program.

NYCHA iSupplier task orders and small-purchase solicitations.

Healthcare

NYC H+H — Health + Hospitals

11 hospitals with heavy grease-trap load, medical waste rooms, and public restroom odor. Chronic pain points that align with Luften's healthcare playbook.

H+H vendor portal — facility services and janitorial supplies.

Citywide

NYC DCAS + DDC + SCA

DCAS runs citywide requirements contracts for facility chemicals and janitorial. DDC subs odor mitigation onto sewer/lift-station rehab. SCA and DOE buy cafeteria grease traps and school restroom odor programs.

PASSPort requirements contracts and prime-sub arrangements.

Statewide

NYS OGS Centralized Contracts

Once awarded, every NY state and municipal buyer can order without re-bidding. Relevant groups: Chemicals (79008) and Facility Maintenance Services.

NYS SFS eSupplier — OGS centralized contract solicitations.

Regional

Port Authority NY/NJ • MTA • NJ Transit

Airports, PATH, bus terminals, subway pump rooms, and bus depot floor drains. High-volume restroom odor and chronic H₂S in deep pump rooms.

PANYNJ vendor portal, MTA Business Opportunities, NJ Transit procurement.
